Movie Opener Final Cut
https://youtu.be/WxZUAwAT1Yw We added labels to the vials of poison that the teacher uses. We made the masks used in the opener consistent throughout all the scenes and added a scene that gave the teacher motive to kill the student.

What specific elements of the film opening did you like? Was there anything that left you confused? (be specific) What suggestions do you have for changes? I like the plot and Ms. Hall made it better. There were some filler clips that made the end of the video a little awkward. Give Ms. Hall one speaking line at the end to make it an award winning film. I liked Mrs. Hall's performance in the film and the suspense I was confused on why they showed the kids at lunch I suggest that you add some more intense music and make it a bit louder The way the plot mixes current news and the traditional plot of poisoning. I loved the plot, it was so creative and so fun to watch. N/A I would maybe add colorings or filters. Maybe it can start off bright and the more into the film, the less color. Week 2 of Editing
After gathering the clips together and organizing them in order last week, we started editing this week. Zoe was the one who was mainly editing while me and Cayley both reviewed the opener as it was being edited.
Week 1 of Editing
Here in these pictures above are me and Cayley gathering the clips together that we have recorded. Once we had our clips together we began to verify how they would go together. Additionally during this time, our group had discussed what the title of the movie was going to be. We decided that the title would use bright red colors for the letters.
Continuing to Film
For the second week of filming our opening, we recorded the lab scenes of the flashback of the opener. As you can see in the pictures above, we recorded a scene. One scene is of the antagonist mixing and pouring chemicals on the mask itself. The scene we recorded is to show the double sided nature of our villain, the teacher.
